Overview
Smash Face Media LLC provides digital services, subscription-based website development, search engine optimization (SEO), local SEO management, Shopify development, hosting, and related services.
Because our offerings are digital services that begin immediately upon onboarding initiation, traditional product return policies do not apply.
Please review this Refund Policy carefully before purchasing.
1. Initial Payment (Non-Refundable)
All initial payments are:
- One-time charges
- Required prior to service initiation
- Non-refundable
Initial Payments compensate for:
- Strategic planning
- System architecture
- Website structure development
- SEO framework creation
- Infrastructure configuration
- Onboarding preparation
- Administrative and technical labor
Work begins immediately upon onboarding initiation. As such, initial payments are non-refundable under all circumstances.
2. Subscription Payments
All website and Local SEO products are billed on a recurring subscription basis unless otherwise stated.
By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree:
- Services begin upon onboarding initiation.
- Work is performed continuously during the subscription period.
- Subscription payments are non-refundable once billed.
We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time within a billing cycle.
3. Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel their subscription at any time through their customer account dashboard.
No advance notice is required.
However:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
- No refunds will be issued for the current billing period.
- All payments already processed are non-refundable.
If you cancel before twelve (12) full subscription payments have been received for a website build, ownership and transfer rules outlined in our Terms of Service apply.
4. No Refunds Based on Performance Expectations
Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction based on:
- Search engine rankings
- Google Map Pack placement
- Traffic levels
- Impressions or click volume
- Lead volume
- Revenue outcomes
- Conversion rates
- Market performance
Digital marketing involves variables outside our control. All services are fulfilled through work performed and systems delivered — not guaranteed outcomes.
5. Client Delays or Inaction
Refunds will not be issued due to:
- Failure to provide onboarding materials
- Failure to provide required access credentials
- Delayed approvals
- Excessive revision requests
- Failure to complete Google Business Profile verification
- Business closure or operational changes
Delays caused by the client do not constitute non-delivery of services.
6. Failed Payments & Suspension
If a subscription payment fails:
- The client has seven (7) calendar days to cure the failed payment.
- Services may be suspended after seven (7) days of nonpayment.
- Suspended services are not grounds for refunds.
7. Local SEO Billing Pause (If No Verified GBP)
If a client does not have a verified Google Business Profile, Local SEO services cannot begin.
Clients may request that any stand-alone Local SEO billing be paused until verification is complete.
However:
- No refunds are issued for prior billing periods.
- Setup fees remain non-refundable.
8. Chargebacks
Because services begin immediately upon onboarding initiation and include documented labor, system preparation, and strategic development:
Initiating a chargeback after services have commenced constitutes a dispute of services already rendered.
We reserve the right to provide documentation of onboarding initiation, correspondence, access requests, development progress, and system configuration in response to any chargeback.
9. Exceptions
We do not offer refunds except in the event of a documented duplicate charge or billing error.
