Purchase Options & Subscription Cancellation Policy

This Purchase Options & Subscription Cancellation Policy applies to all subscription-based services purchased through The Smash Face Shop.

Because Smash Face Media LLC provides digital services (not physical goods), the terms below govern how subscriptions are managed, canceled, and billed.

1. Subscription Services

Certain products offered by Smash Face Media LLC are recurring subscription services, including but not limited to:

  • Essential Growth System
  • Business Growth System
  • Shopify Growth System
  • Serious Local SEO System
  • Website-only subscription services

When you purchase a subscription:

  • You authorize recurring billing based on the billing frequency selected (monthly or annual).
  • Your payment method will be securely stored and automatically charged at each renewal period.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.

2. Managing Your Subscription

Clients are provided access to an account dashboard where subscriptions can be managed directly.

You may:

  • Update payment information
  • Change billing details
  • Cancel your subscription
  • Review active subscriptions

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.

No advance notice is required for cancellation.

3. Effect of Cancellation

When a subscription is canceled:

  • Recurring billing stops immediately.
  • No future payments will be charged.
  • No refunds are issued for prior payments.
  • Services remain active through the end of the current billing period.

Because our services involve ongoing labor, development, infrastructure, hosting, SEO work, and system management:

  • No refunds are provided for setup fees.
  • No refunds are provided for subscription payments already processed.
  • No prorated refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing cycle.

4. Website Ownership & Cancellation Impact

For subscription-based website products:

Ownership transfers only after twelve (12) full subscription payments have been successfully processed.

Annual prepay subscriptions count as twelve (12) payments immediately.

Shopify Growth System websites transfer immediately after receipt of setup fee and first subscription payment, as they are built within the client's Shopify account.

If cancellation occurs before twelve (12) successful payments:

  • Website files will not be transferred.
  • Hosting infrastructure remains Company property.
  • Proprietary systems and build frameworks remain Company property.

If twelve (12) successful payments have been completed:

  • Client may request transfer of website files in accordance with the Website Ownership Policy in the Terms of Service.
  • Third-party licenses, CDN, security systems, and Company infrastructure do not transfer.

5. Local SEO Subscription Terms

Local SEO services require an existing, verified Google Business Profile (GBP).

Smash Face Media LLC:

  • Does not create Google Business Profiles.
  • Does not verify Google Business Profiles.
  • Does not guarantee verification outcomes.

If a client does not yet have a verified GBP:

  • Local SEO services cannot begin.
  • Clients may pause Local SEO billing until verification is complete.

No performance guarantees are provided for rankings, Map Pack placement, traffic, leads, or revenue.

6. Failed Payments & Suspension

If a subscription payment fails:

  • Client has seven (7) calendar days to cure the failed payment.
  • Services may be suspended after seven (7) days of nonpayment.
  • Continued nonpayment may result in termination.

Suspension may include:

  • Website taken offline
  • Hosting disabled
  • SEO services paused

Reactivation may require payment of outstanding balances.

7. Initial Payments

Initial payments are:

  • One-time charges
  • Non-refundable
  • Earned immediately upon onboarding initiation

Initial payments compensate for:

  • Strategy planning
  • System architecture
  • Infrastructure configuration
  • SEO structuring
  • Onboarding preparation

8. No Returns / No Physical Goods

Smash Face Media LLC provides digital services.

There are no physical returns, exchanges, or product refunds.

All refund and cancellation rules are governed by:

  • This Purchase Options & Subscription Cancellation Policy
  • The Refund Policy
  • The Terms of Service

9. Chargebacks

By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that:

  • Services begin immediately upon onboarding initiation.
  • Setup work, strategy development, infrastructure configuration, and SEO preparation constitute billable labor.
  • Initiating a chargeback after services have commenced constitutes a dispute of services already rendered.

We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback with documentation of:

  • Onboarding initiation
  • Email correspondence
  • Access requests
  • Development activity
  • System configuration

10. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and will apply to future purchases.
